All of our Coaches are Skate Canada Certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). Our Coaches are contracted with our Club to provide group instruction to fulfill the Club’s needs. The Club then allows the coaches to teach on the Club’s ice time to give skaters privately arranged instruction.  All of our Coaches are self-employed and therefore must be approached directly for lesson inquiry. A list of Coaches on Staff will be found on  on the Bulletin Board.  Please feel free to talk to any of our Coaches for references, qualifications, and availability. Many of our Coaches work at more than one Club.

She is Level 2 certified, working on Level 3 and is constantly learning new techniques and tips to assist her skaters to become the best they can be. Originally from the Mississauga Skating Club, she has also taught at the East Gwillimbury SC and joined the staff of GSC in 2002. She enjoys teaching freeskate, dance and skills and aims to help her skaters get where they want to be whether that be across the ice, landing jumps or to the Olympics! She believes that quality skating is more about the skater’s effort and attitude than their talent and she aims to teach in a holistic, learner-centred manner. She loves the GSC coaches’ emphasis on quality and teamwork and the wonderful volunteers who help out in every way imaginable. She is mom to four home educated skaters/ hockey players so she spends a lot of time in ice rinks across Ontario!
